ABA therapy for children in Armenia: where to go in Yerevan
ABA therapy for children in Armenia is confirmed in public sources for just one organization in Yerevan: of the centers with open data, only ICDC lists ABA among its services. The others work with autism in other ways: speech and music therapy, day programs, sensory integration. Below is what can be checked on the organizations' websites and in publications, and what open data does not show is best asked by phone.

What already works in Yerevan
The International Child Development Center (ICDC) lists ABA and behavioral therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, art and music therapy, adapted physical education, and services at home, at school and in the community. It also offers a course for ABA technicians under the QABA program. Phone +374 10 580 733, email icdc.child@gmail.com. Children's ages, prices and the waiting list are not on the site, so those are the first things to ask.
The My Way center is a day social rehabilitation center for children and teenagers with autism, founded by mothers of children with the diagnosis. It has operated since 2015 in a building provided by the Yerevan municipality. According to the 2017 Armenian Mirror-Spectator piece, services there are free (speech and physical therapy, music, drawing, sports), and at the time there were 140 pupils and a waiting list of more than 150 names. Nine-year-old figures are out of date, but they show the main point: places have traditionally been fewer than the families who need them. ABA as a separate method is not mentioned in that piece.
The Step Forward NGO started in 2017 as an inclusive summer camp and a year later became a social rehabilitation center. According to the Yerevan municipality, it received financial support for free therapy for about 120 children with disabilities. Its services include speech and music therapy, mental health support and an inclusive gym, and on October 6, 2026, with the support of the company Viva, the center opened a sensory integration room. The same municipal page also names the organization Prukyutyun, which helps about 60 children with developmental disorders.
Teach Me More was founded by Lena Harutyunyan. According to OC Media, it serves more than 500 children on the autism spectrum a year, while a 2019 JAM News piece spoke of 90 enrolled children and 200 on the waiting list. ABA is not named in these publications: at the time the core of the work was speech video lessons.
What open data does not show
Current waiting times, prices and lists of free places are not available for any of the centers, and independent reviews of ABA services in Armenia are hard to find. So treat claims like "they have no queue" or "the best specialists work there" as unchecked: write or call and ask every center the same questions. We collected a ready list of twelve such questions in how to choose an ABA specialist in Armenia, and the BACB registry helps tell a trained specialist from a beginner: it lets you verify a behavior analyst's certification in any country.
How remote work complements in-person centers
A queue for a state or municipal center does not cancel working with your child now. A VB-MAPP or ABLLS-R skills assessment is done remotely and does not depend on whether there is a place in Yerevan, and first sessions can start alongside the wait. How well this format works we covered from the research in does online ABA work, and what budget to plan is in what ABA therapy costs. How Sense Behavior helps families in Armenia
We do not depend on whether a place is free in your district of Yerevan: your child's program is built on our own skills assessment and sessions are online. You can start with a free thirty-minute consultation, where we will go through what you already notice and how to combine sessions with an in-person center if you are on its waiting list.
